心里没有信望爱的人，是不会欣赏真善美的。只有拥有美丽的心的人才懂得欣赏和珍惜周遭的美丽。
我从来不知道自己缺乏什么，为什么会有这么多残缺，一直到最近我看了辅导月刊和宗教的许多文章后才恍然大悟。原来我一直不知道自己是谁，自我价值在哪里，真正需要的是什么，还有应该朝哪个方向去。
至少现在我知道应该怎样做，原来我应该多思考，我最缺乏的是厘清思路，一直以来我都没有正确的思想。我想别人也未必比我好，因为很多人都很消极，不懂得控制自己的情绪，当面对问题时只会把怒气发泄在别人身上，一切都是因为缺乏爱。
没有信、望、爱、真、善、美的人生是没有意义的，而这些东西只有在神和心中有爱的人里面才存在。在这么多优点里，最重要的是爱。
如今常存的有信，有望，有爱；这三样，其中最大的是爱。13:13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. （哥林多前书(1Corinthians)）
完全建立在物质上的快乐是不会长久的，而且也很脆弱，一戳就破。金钱不是不重要，只要够用就好了。
很多自卑的人喜欢先发制人，为了掩饰自己的缺点，以为这样可以保护自己，却不知道惹人讨厌，还以为高高在上。这是一种很失败很可恶的（魔鬼）行为，也是心理变态的一种，是很不成熟的表现。
自卑的人看不到自己的优点，其实只要调整心态，换个角度来看就可以发现了。只要强化优点，尽量纠正缺点就可以加强信心了。神赐给每个人的恩赐都不一样，每个人都有他的优点，不需要自卑。
我若能说万人的方言，并天使的话语，却没有爱，我就成了鸣的锣、响的钹一般。13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.13:2 我若有先知讲道之能，也明白各样的奥秘、各样的知识，而且有全备的信，叫我能够移山，却没有爱，我就算不得什么。13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
13:3 我若将所有的周济穷人，又舍己身叫人焚烧，却没有爱，仍然与我无益。13:3 And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body(Early mss read that I may boast) to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
13:4 爱是恒久忍耐，又有恩慈；爱是不嫉妒，爱是不自夸，不张狂，13:4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,13:5 不作害羞的事，不求自己的益处，不轻易发怒，不计算人的恶，13:5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,13:6 不喜欢不义，只喜欢真理；13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;13:7 凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，凡事忍耐。13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13:8 爱是永不止息。先知讲道之能终必归于无有，说方言之能终必停止，知识也终必归于无有。13:8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. （哥林多前书(1Corinthians)13:1）
敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了，6:6 But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.6:7 因为我们没有带什么到世上来，也不能带什么去，6:7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.6:8 只要有衣有食，就当知足。6:8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
6:9 但那些想要发财的人，就陷在迷惑、落在网罗和许多无知有害的私欲里，叫人沉在败坏和灭亡中。6:9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.6:10 贪财是万恶之根。有人贪恋钱财，就被引诱离了真道，用许多愁苦把自己刺透了。6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
6:11 但你这属神的人要逃避这些事，追求公义、敬虔、信心、爱心、忍耐、温柔。6:11 But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. （提摩太前书(1Timothy）
“你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门。7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.7:8 因为凡祈求的，就得着；寻找的，就寻见；叩门的，就给他开门。7:8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
7:11 你们虽然不好，尚且知道拿好东西给儿女，何况你们在天上的父，岂不更把好东西给求他的人吗？7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!
7:12 所以，无论何事，你们愿意人怎样待你们，你们也要怎样待人，因为这就是律法和先知的道理。”7:12 “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets. （马太福音(Matthew)7:7）
