那等候耶和华的，必从新得力；他们必如鹰展翅上腾，奔跑不困倦，行走不疲乏。40:31 Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up {with} wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.（以赛亚书(Isaiah)）
主虽使人忧愁，还要照他诸般的慈爱发怜悯。3:32 For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion According to His abundant lovingkindness.3:33 因他并不甘心使人受苦，使人忧愁。3:33 For He does not afflict willingly Or grieve the sons of men.（耶利米哀歌(Lamentations)）
你当默然倚靠耶和华，耐性等候他。不要因那道路通达的和那恶谋成就的，心怀不平。37:7 Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
当止住怒气，离弃忿怒；不要心怀不平，以致作恶。37:8 Cease from anger and forsake wrath; Do not fret; {it leads} only to evildoing.
因为作恶的，必被剪除；惟有等候耶和华的，必承受地土。37:9 For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land.
又要以耶和华为乐，他就将你心里所求的赐给你。37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
当将你的事交托耶和华，并倚靠他，他就必成全。37:5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.
他要使你的公义，如光发出；使你的公平，明如正午。37:6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light And your judgment as the noonday.（诗篇 Psalm）
耶和华有怜悯，有恩典，不轻易发怒，且有丰盛的慈爱。103:8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.103:9 他不长久责备，也不永远怀怒。103:9 He will not always strive {with us,} Nor will He keep {His anger} forever.
他没有按我们的罪过待我们，也没有照我们的罪孽报应我们。103:10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
天离地何等地高，他的慈爱向敬畏他的人，也是何等地大。103:11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.103:12 东离西有多远，他叫我们的过犯，离我们也有多远。103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
父亲怎样怜恤他的儿女，耶和华也怎样怜恤敬畏他的人。103:13 Just as a father has compassion on {his} children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
因为他知道我们的本体，思念我们不过是尘土。103:14 For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are {but} dust.103:15 至于世人，他的年日如草一样，他发旺如野地的花；103:15 As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
经风一吹，便归无有，它的原处，也不再认识它。103:16 When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.
但耶和华的慈爱，归于敬畏他的人，从亘古到永远；他的公义也归于子子孙孙。103:17 But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,103:18 就是那些遵守他的约，记念他的训词而遵行的人。103:18 To those who keep His covenant And remember His precepts to do them.（诗篇(Psalm)）
