一个人成功与否不是看成绩，而是他的为人，人的品德比什么都重要。人如果没有良好的品格，就会为了达到目的和利益而不择手段，甚至伤害他人。这样说来，他的聪明只带给他败坏罢了，最后只有自取灭亡。

所以，不要忧虑，说：吃什么？喝什么？穿什么？6:31 "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?'

6:32 这都是外邦人所求的，你们需用的这一切东西，你们的天父是知道的。6:32 "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

6:33 你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了。6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

6:34 所以，不要为明天忧虑；因为明天自有明天的忧虑；一天的难处一天当就够了。”6:34 "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. （马太福音(Matthew)）

不要为生命忧虑吃什么，喝什么；为身体忧虑穿什么。生命不胜于饮食吗？身体不胜于衣裳吗？6:25 "For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, {as to} what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, {as to} what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

6:26 你们看那天上的飞鸟，也不种，也不收，也不积蓄在仓里，你们的天父尚且养活它。你们不比飞鸟贵重得多吗？6:26 "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and {yet} your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?

6:27 你们哪一个能用思虑使寿数多加一刻呢(或作“使身量多加一肘呢”)？6:27 "And who of you by being worried can add a {single} hour to his life?

6:28 何必为衣裳忧虑呢？你想野地里的百合花，怎么长起来；它也不劳苦，也不纺线；6:28 "And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,

6:29 然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的，还不如这花一朵呢！6:29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

6:30 你们这小信的人哪，野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢！6:30 "But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is {alive} today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, {will He} not much more {clothe} you? You of little faith! （马太福音(Matthew)）
