神要塑造我们高尚的品格，好让我们荣神益人，成为世上的盐，在世界发光发热。对神有单纯的信心就是有小孩子的心。
The purpose of suffering of ourselves is not only to make us strong and help others who have the same experience with us but also to glorify God and to expand His kingdom. The pure confidence in Lord is the same with the heart of children.
背起十字架跟从神
「耶稣对门徒说：“若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起他的十字架，来跟从我。16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.（马太福音(Matthew)）」
「我们晓得万事都互相效力，叫爱神的人得益处，就是按他旨意被召的人。8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to {His} purpose.（罗马书(Romans)）」
好行为
「你们的光也当这样照在人前，叫他们看见你们的好行为，便将荣耀归给你们在天上的父。5:16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.（马太福音(Matthew)）」
「我实在告诉你们，你们若不回转，变成小孩子的样式，断不得进天国。18:3 and said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.18:4 所以，凡自己谦卑象这小孩子的，他在天国里就是最大的。18:4 "Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.（马太福音(Matthew)」
你们要思念上面的事，不要思念地上的事。3:2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.（歌罗西书(Colossians)）
安慰
「我们在一切患难中，他就安慰我们，叫我们能用神所赐的安慰，去安慰那遭各样患难的人。1:4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.（哥林多后书(2Corinthians)）」
「就是在患难中也是欢欢喜喜的；因为知道患难生忍耐。5:3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;5:4 忍耐生老练；老练生盼望；
5:4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;5:5 盼望不至于羞耻，因为所赐给我们的圣灵将神的爱浇灌在我们心里。5:5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.（罗马书(Romans)5:3）」
爱人如己
「不可奸淫，不可杀人，不可偷盗，不可贪婪，或有别的诫命，都包在“爱人如己”这一句话之内了。13:9 For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."（罗马书(Romans)）」
「论到祭偶像之物，我们晓得我们都有知识；但知识是叫人自高自大，惟有爱心能造就人。8:1 Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies.（哥林多前书(1Corinthians)）」
保守内心
「你要保守你心，胜过保守一切，因为一生的果效，是由心发出。4:23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it {flow} the springs of life.（箴言(Proverbs)）」
「我们若说自己无罪，便是自欺，真理不在我们心里了。1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.（约翰一书(1John)）」
「你们是属神的，并且胜了他们；因为那在你们里面的，比那在世界上的更大。4:4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.（约翰一书(1John)）」
你们要自卑，服在神大能的手下，到了时候，他必叫你们升高。5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,5:8 务要谨守，警醒；因为你们的仇敌魔鬼，如同吼叫的狮子，遍地游行，寻找可吞吃的人。5:8 Be of sober {spirit,} be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.（彼得前书(1Peter)）
待人如己
饶恕
「你们饶恕人的过犯，你们的天父也必饶恕你们的过犯；6:14 "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.（马太福音(Matthew)）」
「神所要的祭，就是忧伤的灵。神啊！忧伤痛悔的心，你必不轻看。51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.（诗篇(Psalm)）」
「我们若认自己的罪，神是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义。1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.（约翰一书(1John)）」
谦卑的人
「虚心的人有福了！因为天国是他们的。5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.5:4 哀恸的人有福了！因为他们必得安慰。5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.5:6 饥渴慕义的人有福了！因为他们必得饱足。5:6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.5:7 怜恤人的人有福了！因为他们必蒙怜恤。5:7 "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.5:8 清心的人有福了！因为他们必得见神。5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.（马太福音(Matthew)）」
不要忧愁
「不要忧虑，说：吃什么？喝什么？穿什么？6:31 "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?'6:32 这都是外邦人所求的，你们需用的这一切东西，你们的天父是知道的。6:32 "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:33 你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了。6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.（马太福音(Matthew)）」
看不到自己眼中的梁木
「你不见自己眼中有梁木，怎能对你弟兄说：‘容我去掉你眼中的刺’呢？你这假冒为善的人！先去掉自己眼中的梁木，然后才能看得清楚，去掉你弟兄眼中的刺。6:42 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.（路加福音(Luke)）」
不放弃
那吩咐光从黑暗里照出来的神，已经照在我们心里，叫我们得知神荣耀的光显在耶稣基督的面上。4:6 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.4:7 我们有这宝贝放在瓦器里，要显明这莫大的能力，是出于神，不是出于我们。
4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;4:8 我们四面受敌，却不被困住；心里作难，却不至失望；4:8 {we are} afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;4:9 遭逼迫，却不被丢弃；打倒了，却不至死亡。4:9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;4:10 身上常带着耶稣的死，使耶稣的生也显明在我们身上。（哥林多后书(2Corinthians)）
唯一的道路
「耶稣说：“我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉着我，没有人能到父那里去。14:6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.（约翰福音(John)）」
不是纵容
「主所应许的尚未成就，有人以为他是耽延，其实不是耽延，乃是宽容你们，不愿有一人沉沦，乃愿人人都悔改。3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.（彼得后书(2Peter)）」
种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆
「不要自欺，神是轻慢不得的；人种的是什么，收的也是什么。6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.（加拉太书(Galatians)）」
「神说：“伸冤在我，我必报应；”又说：“主要审判他的百姓。”10:30 For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY." And again, "THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE."（希伯来书(Hebrews)）」
「6:23 因为罪的工价乃是死；惟有神的恩赐，在我们的主基督耶稣里，乃是永生。6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.（罗马书(Romans)）」
忘记过去，展望未来
我不是以为自己已经得着了，我只有一件事，就是忘记背后，努力面前的，3:13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of {it} yet; but one thing {I do:} forgetting what {lies} behind and reaching forward to what {lies} ahead,3:14 向着标竿直跑，要得神在基督耶稣里从上面召我来得的奖赏。3:14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.（腓立比书(Philippians)）
圣灵的果子
「现今你们既从罪里得了释放，作了神的奴仆，就有成圣的果子，那结局就是永生。6:22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.（罗马书(Romans)）」
「圣灵所结的果子就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,5:23 温柔、节制。这样的事，没有律法禁止。5:23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.5:24 凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体连肉体的邪情私欲，同钉在十字架上了。（加拉太书(Galatians)）
5:24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.5:25 我们若是靠圣灵得生，就当靠圣灵行事。5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.5:26 不要贪图虚名，彼此惹气，互相嫉妒。5:26 Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.（加拉太书(Galatians)）」
若有人在基督里，他就是新造的人，旧事已过，都变成新的了。5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, {he is} a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.（哥林多后书(2Corinthians)）
属灵的战争，运用真理
我们争战的兵器，本不是属血气的，乃是在神面前有能力，可以攻破坚固的营垒，10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.（哥林多后书(2Corinthians)）
所以，要拿起神所赐的全副军装，好在磨难的日子抵挡仇敌，并且成就了一切，还能站立得住。6:13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.6:14 所以要站稳了，用真理当作带子束腰，用公义当作护心镜遮胸，6:14 Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,6:15 又用平安的福音当作预备走路的鞋穿在脚上。6:15 and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;
此外又拿着信德当作藤牌，可以灭尽那恶者一切的火箭；6:16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil {one.}6:17 并戴上救恩的头盔，拿着圣灵的宝剑，就是神的道；6:17 And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.6:18 靠着圣灵，随时多方祷告祈求，并要在此警醒不倦，为众圣徒祈求，6:18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,（以弗所书(Ephesians)）
