“你们是世上的盐。盐若失了味，怎能叫它再咸呢？以后无用，不过丢在外面，被人践踏了。5:13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty {again?} It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.5:14 你们是世上的光。城造在山上，是不能隐藏的。5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;5:15 人点灯，不放在斗底下，是放在灯台上，就照亮一家的人。5:15 nor does {anyone} light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.5:16 你们的光也当这样照在人前，叫他们看见你们的好行为，便将荣耀归给你们在天上的父。"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.（马太福音(Matthew))
基督徒如果为了迎合别人而不坚持自己的论点只会害了别人的灵魂。如果只为了今世的和睦而忽视人的来生是说不过去的，那不是真正的爱，毕竟今生（肉体）是短暂的,只有来生（灵魂）是永远的。人不能选择错误，不然后果堪虞，我们不能眼睁睁看着别人下地狱而无动于衷。所以我们必须传福音，当然也需要运用技巧，不然也会惹人厌恶，我们必须在对的时候说恰当的话。最重要是以身作则，树立好榜样，以理服人。身为基督徒本来应该效法耶稣，常常仰望神，省察自己，看看自己里面有什么不对，将之纠正，把荣耀归给上帝。
基督教虽然讲爱,可是也不能没有公义,没有信主的人都是有罪的,因为他们的原罪还未被主耶稣的宝血洁净。当人听了福音之后，被神的爱感动时，圣灵就住在人的心里面，只有圣灵住在心里的人才算得救,圣灵会改变人的心,使人悔改，只有从心里去改变人的行为才会改变，变得善良。
如果人可以靠其他方法得救,神就不用派耶稣下来为我们被钉十字架,成为中保,使我们可以到达神那里。
别的宗教是人选神,只有基督教是神选人。神虽然也爱不信祂的人,可是人必须为自己的选择负责,人不信神的结果是灭亡,永远在火湖里被烧。
魔鬼不是妖魔,它本来是最美的天使,可是后来因为想代替神的地位而被打下来。现在它到处诱惑人离开神,想尽种种方法使人讨厌神,以便人和它一起下火狱,因为它要对抗神。魔鬼的这种行为叫骄傲,所有跟从魔鬼的人也是骄傲,因为它阻止人听从神。只有肯谦卑的人才会接受神。
对基督教来说,没有信主的人都会灭亡,所以我们必须努力传福音,才会被人误以为极端。我们是出于爱,不希望有任何人沉沦,希望人人都悔改得救。如果我们因为要包容别人的宗教而不去传教,那么我们会丧失很多灵魂。
太初有道，道与神同在，道就是神。1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.1:2 这道太初与神同在。1:2 He was in the beginning with God.1:3 万物是藉着他造的；凡被造的，没有一样不是藉着他造的。1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.1:4 生命在他里头，这生命就是人的光。1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.1:5 光照在黑暗里，黑暗却不接受光。1:9 那光是真光，照亮一切生在世上的人。1:9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.1:10 他在世界，世界也是藉着他造的，世界却不认识他。1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.1:11 他到自己的地方来，自己的人倒不接待他。1:11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.
1:12 凡接待他的，就是信他名的人，他就赐他们权柄，作神的儿女。1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, {even} to those who believe in His name,1:13 这等人不是从血气生的，不是从情欲生的，也不是从人意生的，乃是从 神生的。1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.1:14 道成了肉身，住在我们中间，充充满满地有恩典有真理。我们也见过他的荣光，正是父独生子的荣光。1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. （约翰福音(John)）
