神爱世上的每个人，我们都是祂按照自己的形象所创造的，人活着的目的就是荣耀神，不是单单荣耀自己。人感觉不到神的爱，因为人被自己的私欲所辖制了，人只看到自己，也被魔鬼蒙蔽了双眼，所以看不到神，也感觉不到神的爱。一个人要有积极的思想，首先心里必须充满爱和希望。如果人要认识神就必须读圣经，并且祈求圣灵的光照和引导，好让我们可以明白神的话，因为神的话就是力量，可以创造天地。我们必须敞开心门，让耶稣进来，才能拯救我们的生命。
我若将所有的周济穷人，又舍己身叫人焚烧，却没有爱，仍然与我无益。爱是恒久忍耐，又有恩慈；爱是不嫉妒；爱是不自夸，不张狂， 不做害羞的事，不求自己的益处，不轻易发怒，不计算人的恶， 不喜欢不义，只喜欢真理； 凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，凡事忍耐。爱是永不止息。先知讲道之能终必归于无有；说方言之能终必停止；知识也终必归于无有。如今常存的有信，有望，有爱这三样，其中最大的是爱。(哥林多前书13:3-8,13 和合本)

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us. (1 John4:7-13,15-19 ESV)
